Foundations of Quality Teachers (FQT)

The Foundations of Quality Teachers (FQT) is a pragmatic workshop that is designed to enhance the caliber of teachers through an intensive, yet comprehensive training program that links theory to practice. The FQT workshop provides the essentials required for quality teachers to operate a classroom that is conducive to learning in an international school setting.

The FQT workshop addresses actual challenges that teachers face inside classrooms and within their schools, and provides practical solutions to dealing with these problems with the core aim of maximizing teaching productivity to achieve desired learning outcomes. It introduces teachers to a variety of new teaching approaches and techniques, and exposes them to crucial aspects involved in the teaching and learning process that affects their delivery, therefore affects the quality of education.

The FQT workshop stresses equal emphasis on all four elements of the teaching and learning process; the teacher, the learner, the curriculum, and the environment that embeds all four elements. It includes effective individual and group work practical activities that allow teachers to actively participate in a collegial environment that is conducive to development.

Enrollment in our workshops entitles teachers to participate in an after delivery program that allows them to observe other teachers from different schools teach, and be able to collaborate and share expertise. It also includes an after training supervision service, where a multiple of classroom visits are conducted to evaluate teachers and provide them with evaluation reports and tips to make sure that they are implementing what they have learned.
